Starting 18 Aug 2026 an anonymous persona branded 'CyberLeek' published unreleased GTA VI gameplay clips, cutscenes and an apparent full Leonida map, watermarked with a Solana memecoin, days before Rockstar's 27 Aug Netflix Extended Look. Take-Two responded with four DMCA subpoena matters in the SDNY: 1:26-mc-00421 and 1:26-mc-00422 (filed 20 Aug, seeking Microsoft and Discord account, device and IP records) and 1:26-mc-00425 and 1:26-mc-00426 (filed 21 Aug, seeking Google/YouTube and X records), all with a 4 Sep compliance date. No civil complaint naming anyone has been filed. Rockstar issued a public statement on 26 Aug acknowledging the leaks but named no one, and an unverified 'FBI arrest' rumor on 27-28 Aug was undercut by CyberLeek posting again. As of 28 Aug 2026 no real-world identity has been officially confirmed. GTA VI is scheduled for 19 Nov 2026, after this market closes.
