Perceptron AI, a physical-AI startup founded in November 2024 by former Meta FAIR researchers Armen Aghajanyan and Akshat Shrivastava, announced Isaac 0.5 on 26 August 2026: a 36-billion-parameter sparse open-weights model for robot perception, reasoning and control, trained on more than 35 robot systems, 100,000 hours of robot experience and one million hours of video. Its two earlier open-weights releases were Isaac 0.1 (17 September 2025) and Isaac 0.2 (10 December 2025), alongside a separate proprietary flagship, Perceptron Mk1, in May 2026.
